Neglected at drug house, this pit bull deserves the TLC he's missed

Scooter Pie when he was first rescued.
Scooter Pie since receiving foster care.
Searching for your new best friend? Consider Scooter Pie, a pit bull deserving of a loving home and nurturing family.

Scooter Pie came to Eleventh Hour Rescue from a known drug house in a major New Jersey city.  The authorities stepped in and seized everything and that was fortunate for Scooter Pie, who had been seriously neglected, undernourished, and suffering from a terrible case of non-contagious mange from years of neglect.

Currently in the shelter's foster program, Scooter Pie is housetrained, crate trained and easy to walk on a leash.  Since his skin and fur have deteriorated to such an extent, he needs a coat to keep him warm outside.  He plays well with his toys and other dogs, too.

This is a kind and gentle soul that has had a tough start in life. Why not give this guy a second chance at the good life?   To read more about Scooter Pie or to see all of Eleventh Hour Rescue's adoptable pets, visit www.ehrdogs.org.
